Pamela S. Dickerson, PhD, RN, BC, is President and co-owner of PRN Continuing Education. Pam is a nationally recognized speaker and consultant on a variety of health care issues.

Originally a graduate of a diploma school of nursing, Pam holds a bachelor's degree in nursing, a master's degree in nursing with a concentrate in women's health, and a PhD in health administration. She is board certified in Nursing Professional Development.

• Co-founder and co-owner of two nursing businesses, dating to 1982
• 5 years as inaugural President of the Oncology Education Services' Board of Directors
• 5 years as a Commissioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation, 2 of those as vice-chair
• Current appraiser with the ANCC Commission on Accreditation (since 1995)
• 4 year term on the Ohio Board of Nursing Continuing Education Advisory Group

• Speaker for local, regional, and national conferences, including the American Nurses Association and the National Nurses in Staff Development Organization
• Speaker for numerous special events, including National Nurses' Week activities in several cities
• Facilitator for strategic planning meetings and performance improvement efforts
• Invited speaker for numerous nursing conferences and events
• Author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed nursing journals
• Founding member of the Nurse Entrepreneur Assembly of the Ohio Nurses Association
• Recipient of the Ohio Nurses Association's Excellence in Nontraditional Nursing Practice award in 2003
• Inducted into ONA Cornelius Leadership Congress, 2005
